Fish & Chips
These collages represent a small piece of Wiluna’s gold mining history viewed from a domestic perspective. The materials used in the work comprise authentic vintage ceramic fragments and tins collected from the old demolished township, where fine china brought from around the world suggests the struggle by some to maintain elegant dining traditions in the impossibly harsh and destitute environment, and the shattered dreams of most.
